Judy & Eddy met over 50 years ago at a youth dance in Tully, where young love bloomed. They later married and have 3 children, Gavin, Tracy & Mark. Gavin organised for a family portrait to celebrate the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary which included Mark & his family travelling up from the Gold Coast.

This photoshoot was taken down at the Wharf, we started at the turtle statue outside of Wharf One Cafe and moved to the park, there were so many options for this early morning shoot before the family headed out to lunch to continue celebrating.

The last time the family had a portrait together was at Mark & Kristiannas wedding 3 years ago so their young baby wasn't yet in any of the family portraits. Judy shared with me her photo of the grandkids from that day which she has on the wall as she is updating it with a wall canvas from this session, they've changed so much in that short time.

It's such a delight to be a part of these moments with families coming together, soon the older grandchildren will begin their own journeys with life partners and their own children, creating another generation, filled with their own stories of love and growth. These images will become a part of their family legacy and the stories they share of their loved ones.

The package used for this session was the Family Reunion 1 which allowed for photos of each family, the whole family and different groupings that the family wanted. Judy has also requested a canvas of a photo of herself and Eddy with their grandchildren for the wall and a legacy album of the photo shoot to have as a keepsake of their family.
