The Bott family were visiting Cairns all the way from Utah, USA for a quick 2 week getaway. Cole is a pilot which means this lucky family get to fly for peanuts! After waiting through a few standby lines, they made it to Australia and didn't waste any time soaking up the sun and exploring our tropical backyard. They also took the opportunity to have their family portraits taken at beautiful Kewarra Beach as a great memory of their adventure. At one point in the session someone (dad) got the idea to have a race or competition with jumping over the canal the highest so everyone ended up getting in the water at some point. The atmosphere at the beach was incredible, with music from the resort band playing, party lights swaying in the wind and families gathering for bbqs. It will be great to see their prints on the walls of their new home they are building and moving into sometime later this year.

Every portrait session takes it's own form with how it evolves, and the family energetics come into play with the unfolding of how the session turns out.

The funny laughs and smiles in the end photos were mostly in part to the hard work dad put in to make his kids smile, happy parents really bring out the laughter and joy in children.
