Deborah contacted me for personal branding photography for her new business website & LinkedIn profile. Coming from an executive background, it was important for Deborah to be able to keep a professional image while sharing her personality and down to earth attitude. Deborah didn't want to appear stiff & rigid like traditional headshots but she also didn't want to be too relaxed and unprofessional. When we met for the session, I found Deborah full of life, stories and laughter. It had been 5+ years since Deborah had been a part of a professional photoshoot so she was pleasantly surprised when it turned out to be like old friends catching up.

Deborah had her hair & make up professionally done for this shoot, the weather said 30% chance of rain, which decided to fall right at the time of the shoot. As the rain fell down non stop, we considered rescheduling but given that everything was done, Deborah was eager to go through with the shoot so we went ahead rain and all. The location we chose at the Cairns Sebel Harbour Lights gave us great light and shelter from the rain so in the end it all worked out including a quick outfit change for some lifestyle images to have on file for future blogging and social media needs.
